Chris' Co-Workers Halloween Gifts

We LOVE the website Pinterest and have found so many good ideas on there.  So for Halloween, Chris wanted to make some co-worker gifts and I thought it was a great idea!  Here is the finished product.  The Frankenstein's are cards made out of paint chip options.  Chris sure was a busy bee this Halloween!

Holden couldn't wait to have a turn with the Spider costume

Demi and Uncle Phil
The Santilli's invited us over to have dinner and decorate cookies this Halloween so we went and had fun eating, visiting, watching the kids run a muck and had a good Halloween celebration.  We didn't get any pictures of the Santilli's but thank you for hosting this evening so that we could all get together.

Trunk or Treat 2011

Our little Dr. Holden
Here we are in all our gloy...Mary Poppins and Burt the chimney sweep

Silly Faces...

We had fun at our church Trunk-or-Treat this year!  Holden was mesmerized by all the kids in costume and mostly wanted to stay by mom and dad, and whenever we walked anywhere he had to be holding my finger.  (Surprising, since he is usually all over the place, but good for us since we didn't have to chase him everywhere)  He loved it all and it was fun to dress up!

Sports Authority Pumpkin Carving Contest

Best use of Sports Authority logo

This one was entered for best carving, and should have won, but didn't...

Best use of Sports Authority Field at Mile High logo
At work this year, they had a pumpkin carving contest and Chris was bound and determined to win it!  He spent countless hours on these pumpkins and I think that it really paid off...There were 4 categories that you could enter and he entered three of them.  The prize for each pumpkin that won was a $50 giftcard to Sports Authority.  He won two categories!  I am so proud of him and his work!  He did a GREAT job!

First BIG snow...

This was taken at the beginning of the storm

Holden woke up, saw the snow and wanted to be outside

We had the first real snow of the season really early this year on October 25th.  This wasn't just a dusting either...We had a good 6 inches or more.  When Holden woke up I had him look out his window and he saw the snow and wanted to get his boots and jacket on and go outside.  Later we went for an hour long walk through all the snow we could find and made tracks all over our condo complex...He was loving it!  I decided it was time to go in when he sat down in the snow and started to eat it.  Normally I wouldn't have cared that much, but we have so many dogs around here, who knows what he could have picked up in the snow...YUCK!  Overall, we were red faced and running noses when we came in, but he sure had fun!

Brrr...This is a cold, but happy memory!

Pumpkin Patch 2011
Each year the Santilli's, Ericson's and Sander's go to the annual Pumpkin Patch where we walk through the corn fields and pumpkin patches, take lots of pictures, the kids dress up and we have a good time eating really bad for us food...This event only happens the first weekend of October so that is the only time that we can go...Of course this year it was the first snow/sleet and very cold and muddy.  I wish I had a picture to show how much mud we had on our feet.  The Sander's decided to sit this year out, since they didn't want little Demi out in the weather.  We went and met up with the Santilli's and they were all geared up for the weather with boots, snow pants and all...We however were not.  Holden was in his scrubs, because he is a doctor for Halloween and jacket and we had a hat on him too!  He had just his little shoes on, so he wanted to be carried everywhere, and the parking attendant who said hi to him when we first got out of the car, scared him and threw him into a not so pleasant mood.  When he saw Blane, Tobin and Allegra he was excited and wanted to play.  We didn't stay long because Holden was shivering and we were all soaking wet.  (This picture was taken at the beginning) by the time we left, my hair was soaking wet, Holden's jacket was soaking wet and we all had VERY muddy feet!  We had fun, didn't eat the really bad for us food, and made a memory!  Here is to next year!

Ponky and Grandma Came For a Visit

We are so happy to have this picture and will always cherish it!
This is me trying to get Holden to get in the picture and Great Grandma trying to help

Ponky and Grandma (Grandpa and Grandma Redd) came to Colorado to visit and we were lucky enough to have dinner with them.  We had a good evening at Tom and April's house, ate home made Cafe Rio style salad and Blue Bell Ice Cream.  The kids played and played and the adult's visited.  It was a nice evening!  We really wanted a picture with Ponky and Grandma and had to go through a lot of tantrums to finally get a decent one.  Holden just doesn't like to stop what he is doing to pose for a picture, hence the reason why he is rarely smiling!  But we got one and we are happy to have it!

Crazy Cousins!

Demi girl thought those two boys were CRAZY! She was such a little trooper!
The boys played in Holden's bed for most of the time, with blankets over their heads
And they rough housed a little

Last week we had Easton and Demi over so that Niki could get a little time away to get her hair done.  Holden and Easton had so much fun and Demi was a little dream baby as she just sat and played or crawled around.  We did have one moment when everyone was crying at once...but we got through it and everyone is still friends! It was a good time and I am glad that Holden has cousins close to us to play with.

Our Little Bronco's Fan

Holden wearing daddy's Bronco's hat!
Holden has also become quite the football fan too...He gets in position to hike the ball by getting down on all four's and putting one let out (Looks more like he is stretching to get ready for running) and then he watches the game,  has his little football in hand...says "Hike" and throws the ball and then runs...I think that we are going to have a little sports nut on our hands!  Daddy couldn't be more proud! :)
